About Me

I’m a self-taught artist from Surrey with a passion for portraiture. My work is inspired by people who move me, and I’m drawn to capturing their energy and character in paint. In recent years, I’ve fallen in love with painting on reclaimed wood—not only because it gives new life to forgotten materials, but also because the natural grain adds its own beauty and story to each piece.

My journey as an artist began in my childhood bedroom, where I couldn’t resist turning blank walls into murals. It felt exciting and a little rebellious—though my parents weren’t always thrilled about the ever-changing artwork on their walls! Over time, that same drive grew into painting portraits and taking commissions of all kinds, from people and pets to buildings and beyond. I don’t take life too seriously, and I bring that openness into my work. I welcome commissions and love the challenge of creating something unique and personal for others to treasure.
